  1. SCULPTURES By Rachel Alwyn

  2. What is sculpture Sculpture is a art where you make different types of 3D models with different things. Such as glass, stone, metal, wood, bronze, sand, and of course ceramics. A Sculpture when made doesn’t have to be a specific thing, it can be as abstract as wanted, like different pieces of metal put together.

  3. To create a sculpture • Smash clay to get air bubbles out • Use Slab, Coil, and Pinch pot technique • Make sure your clay is always moist • Make sure the surface is smooth

  4. Sallie Portnoy Sallie Portnoyworks in glass sculpture. Most of her art is based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. She is known best for her cast glass sculpture but sometimes works with glass mosaic, clay and more recently bronze, aluminum, steel, cement and polystyrene when the project suits.

Sallie is well known for her bold figurative colouredsculptures, as well as her private and public mosaic site-specific designs and installations.

The figure in her glass pieces has been used as a universal symbol of the vessel, figures that speak with light, movement and simple thoughts. It is also very much an exploration of the play of light.

She has won a numerous amount of awards s & private public art commissions.

  5. Sallie Portnoy Work Igebox I’m not exactly sure what this is but I think their sort of stick figures. The colors are sort of tropical Contemporary Cast To me this looks like a bird and a Angel. The colors are half warm and cool and contrast well together.
