  3. History • Started in 1952 as an Army surplus store • Founded by Edward M. Orkney in Portland, Oregon • Stores throughout Oregon and Washington • First item sold was an Army surplus mummy sleeping bag for $1.50 • “SEIZE THE WEEKEND!!!”

  4. Locations • Area locations include Albany, Salem, and Eugene • Statewide there are 13 total • 24 total stores nationwide
