The Lone Star College Endowment offers scholarships for non-traditional female students attending LSC-CyFair. Eligible applicants must not be recent high school graduates and should have experienced a career change or be pursuing additional degrees/certificates. Scholarship applications for fall are due April 1, and for spring by October 1. CYFEN members can apply for a one-year scholarship, and further opportunities are available through the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation Endowment, which funds scholarships for female students in business or entrepreneurship.

LONE STAR COLLEGE ENDOWMENT • Must attend LSC-CyFair • Must be a non-traditional female student • Who is not a recent high school graduate • Who has had a career change • or Is pursuing additional degrees or certificates. One year scholarship given to 2 CYFEN members/ year • Must have been in CYFEN for a minimum of one year • Must be a member in good standing • Application accepted by LSC • Applications are due in June
CY-FAIR EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION ENDOWMENT • All endowments must be funded within seven years • All donations from the CFEF Endowment Partners are placed into a permanent endowment fund for the purposes of expanding funds necessary to meet the growing numbers of high schools and increasing costs of college. • Our $20,000 Endowment once funded will provide a $2,000 2-year scholarship to the college of the recipient’s choice. For these scholarships, CYFEN will also award a one year ABWA membership to the chapter of choice for the recipient anywhere in the US. • This will be awarded to a CFISD senior, female student pursuing a business degree or who is an entrepreneur going to college full time.
