PRO TIPS FOR SCHEDULING • Student should ask themselves: • What are my goals for after graduation? • Then: • Consider past performance/grades in each subject area. • Review your student’s Four-Year Academic Plan. • Consider college entrance requirements for schools of interest. • Play to strengths when choosing classes. • Strike a BALANCE between challenging course selection and ability to be successful in classes while improving GPA. • Remember: • Course selection and performance (GPA) are the most important factors in the college admissions process.

  11. SCHEDULING TIMELINE • Upcoming Dates (all students) • April 22 – April 26, 2019– Students will finalize their course requests. These will be the final changes allowed for the 2019-2020 school year. • April 26, 2019 – Last day to make changes to course requests. • August 2019 – Schedule pick-up. • **New this year!** Students will not be permitted to make schedule changes prior to the start of the school year. • August 30, 2019 – Last day for schedule changes.
