  4. Leave Your Folder Flat on Your Desk for it to be Collected

  5. Participation Make-up Work • EVERYONE should get a 100% in participation for the quarter • If you lose (or have lost) points on participation, you can earn them back by doing extra work • AS A REMINDER: No work will be accepted the week the quarter ends! This means that all work is due by October 18th

  6. What can you do for Make-Up work? • Participation points are lost by 5’s, so each make-up work you complete is worth 5 points • You may: • Write a 100 word essay (7th grade) or 150 word essay (8th grade) on a topic that Señorita Hall approves IN ADVANCE • You can create a study tool (educreations, flip-chute box, other manipulative, etc) with the vocabulary words from one of our current units • You can write and illustrate a story book for children written in Spanish using our vocabulary • Other ideas? Ask Señorita Hall BEFORE you create something else

  7. What happens next? • When you turn in a make-up work and it has been graded by Señorita Hall, you will receive a blue ticket that is worth 5 participation points • You need to fill in the ticket and return it to Señorita Hall (you will have to go on PowerSchool to see which date you lost participation points) • Tickets WILL NOT be accepted if they are incomplete • The ticket will be filed in your work carpeta

  8. Make-Up Work Time • You will have the remaining class period to complete make-up work • No tickets will be issued today, but use this time to get started
