Why Indian Bare Winding Wire So Much in Demand?

Winding wire is also known as enamelled wire as it is coated with a thin layer of insulation or enamel. There is no doubt that enamelling of these wires prevents short circuits even though they are coiled or wound together. Because of the magnetic flux created when they are wound together, these wires are also called magnetic wires. 1. Why Indian Bare Winding Wire So Much in Demand?

  3. Both Aluminium as well as Copper winding wires are put to extensive use in the construction of motors, electromagnets, transformers and inductors. Moreover, these wires possess superior electrical, thermal and mechanical properties making them useful in various electrical applications.

  4. Copper as a metal is favoured over aluminium as the chemical, physical and mechanical properties of this unalloyed pure metal have proved to be superior, thus making it the first choice. Copper’s greater conductivity in coil winding helps in enhancing the electrical energy efficiency of the gadgets. Most often the magnet wires are composed of high-purity oxygen-free copper grades which are most suitable for high temperature applications.

  5. Modern times have brought new material to be used for insulating the wires and that consists of one to four layers of polymer film insulation of two different compositions. This acts as a tough and continuous insulating layer. The other types of insulation in the form of fiberglass yarn with varnish, aramid paper, kraft paper, mica or polyester film are also being put to use for various applications.
