Action - What you can do? • Positive stories and messaging through media & professional forums • Use all resources in our school communities to argue for the direction that we know is successful for kiwi kids, e.g. school newsletter, blogs, PTA… • Maintain child centred, rich curriculum • Don’t allow NS to be the only driver for your school’s direction • Advocate ambition and commitment to raising student achievement. • Articulate strategies to lift Maori and Pasifika student achievement
