  1. What’s up with Atlas?

  2. Atlas right now -Teachers complain about Atlas not being user-friendly. -THEY ARE RIGHT! -We need to streamline their work and make it more efficient, not add to their load or create busywork because it "might" be helpful.

  3. Atlas: already more efficient -split into stages to make curriculum planning easier and more intuitive

  4. Stage 1 -Identify Desired Results (what are the standards that need to be met?) -Guided questions, Learning Objectives, and Content are also here, but we’ll get to those later

  5. Stage 2 Determine Acceptable Evidence (how to assess)

  6. Stage 3 Plan Learning Activities

  7. Atlas: the issues we still have 1. Classes we don't need. 2. Differentiation is vague. Mindy is working on a drop-down menu. 3. Technology integration is vague. Leader feedback is still needed! 4. There are two redundant boxes: Content and Learning Objectives. So there is confusion and they’re not used properly.

  8. Feedback Needed • Assessment Items • Technology Integration

  9. Feedback Needed -Cutting out redundancies/duplicate work by eliminating the Learning Objectives box and combining Content and Learning Activities. "Nothing is less productive than to make more efficient what should not be done at all." - Peter Drucker, author of classic The Effective Executive Here’s an example:
