  3. Status SRC • SRC database • 64 High Quality HDTV sequences • 6 RenderedMovies • 22 User generated contents • Gaming content • Gold dataset 2012 selected (10 sequences) • A first version of manual annotation regarding the sequencecharacteristicsisavailable • Todo: • Somesequencesneed to becutintoshortervideos (notably the RenderedMovies) • It wouldbenice to have the sequencesfrom the CDVL databaseavailable on ftp for easierdownload Marcus Barkowsky

  4. StatusPVS • The Goldset 2012 wasencoded by AGH with • ~600 differentparameter settings in x264 • ~600 differentparameter settings in JM • The 12000 sequences(108GB) canbedownloadedfrom: • ftp://ftp.ivc.polytech.univ-nantes.fr/ VQEG/JEG/HYBRID/database/ • Soon a mirrorat AGH willbeinstalled Marcus Barkowsky

  5. Status PVS • Todo: • Create a Virtual Machine allowing for recreatingthesevideos • Create the same PVS for more SRC • Transmit thesevideos over variouslossy/lossless transmission channels • Remarks/Questions: • The HMIX2 files in compressed bz2 format take about 800GB. It wouldprobablybe more convenient to runthislocally. • The PVS wouldbevery large and canbecreated in the sameprocess Marcus Barkowsky

  6. H.264 databasedetails • Presentation by Lucjan Marcus Barkowsky

  7. Status objective indicators • Objective Algorithms are currentlyrun on the database (SSIM, PSNR, VQM, …) • Isolatedindicators are evaluated as well(blockiness, blurriness, jerkinessfromAccepTV, variousalgorithmsfrom AGH) • Todo • Runfurther objective measurementalgorithms Marcus Barkowsky

  8. StatusEstimating MOS • Todo • Developstatisticaltools to • Select and alignvarious objective algorithmresults • Provide information whichsequences have to go into a subjective experiment, i.e. based on order classification Marcus Barkowsky

  9. Testplan discussion • New structures in the testplan in the Appendices (seethere) Marcus Barkowsky

  10. HEVC database • Glenn isgoing to presentdetails Marcus Barkowsky

  11. Addition of other types of media/degradations • Presentation by Anthony Marcus Barkowsky

  12. Status for developingHybridmeasurement • Todo: • Studentcompetition organisation? Marcus Barkowsky

  13. Furtherworkideas • Furtherwork on HEVC XML file creation • Furtherwork on balanced SRC selectionalgorithm • Predictingmanuallyvoted SRC selectionfeaturesincludingmeasuring of performance of existingalgorithms Marcus Barkowsky
