  11. YOUNG AND DYNAMIC ORGANISATION Only an organization that presents its activities is known to the public. Therefore,in the following years we aim to transmit positive signalsabout our organization towards the public. Likewise, the organization can be successful only if the system of internal communications will work. Therefore, let us try to ensure that all branches will be able to communicate with each other and „pull the rope together“. Objectives: • present Slovak Scouting as a young and dynamic organization • creating an attractive image of scouting and protecting its reputation • communicate effectively - internally and externally • continually work to develop the organization

  12. EDUCATION A STEP FURTHERVolunteers are a valuable resource for the organization. It should be not forgotten that these people are notonly "sources" from which we can only take.  High goals are expected from them, so they need support on their way. One of the best investments is the education, which provides not only knowledge but also motivation for future work. Objectives: • quality education • tailored trainings • care for volunteers

  13. STABLE AND TRANSPARENT FINANCESMoney is only a necessary means of action, not an aim. Although they are necessary for our operation, we need to focus more on activities and building of good reputation and credit for our organization. • At the same time we have to realize that money is to find easiest by more efficient spending on all levels of our organization. Objectives: • effectiveness • transparency • independence

  14. EFFICIENTLY TO STRONG AND STABLE ORGANIZATIONIn areas of efficiency of management we have in the past years focused on the national level. In the coming years we have to focus collectively on more effective management at the level of scout regions and groups. With good organizational management we jointly build the reputation of the organization and increase its credit to the public. Objectives: • improvethe work with the human resources at all levels of the organization• effective organization• introduce more efficient processes to the activities of the organization

  15. PROGRAM GETTING BETTERThe most important program we have done already, an educational program for all age groups is already in use. In this term will be our task to make the first review of cub scout program and to adjust the scout program where it is necessary. In rover program we must look for new forms of rover participation, support active service and support of young leaders. We want to expand and improve the forms of support and communication with leaders, to focus on safety and quality. Objectives: • review and recovery education program• a varied, interesting and safe program• annual program well-prepared campaign and major events

  16. Example of detailed description of „Action steps“ for a priority • PROGRAM GETTING BETTER • Review and revitalize education program • Only through an interesting and attractive program, we can attract new • members into the organization. Therefore, let us try to make it more • attractive educational program. • Complete revising of the educational program for cub scouts and preparation for new • features especially in the area of challenges and achievement badges • By the end of 2010 to finalize the development of a new cub scout program • To prepare a symbolic framework for cub scouts and water scouts as an alternative • to the existing program (the program to be issued as PDF) • revise the achievement badgesfor cub scouts (more adapted to present) • 2. To start and finish the process of revising and editing of education program for scouts • To revise revise the second degree (Climbing to the top) and to a necessary level the • first degree (The unknown country) • To create a manualfor patrol and troop leaders on "How to work with the scout trail" • At the woodbadge and courses to teachthe leaders to work with program manuals • To adjust the educational program to meet scouts joining the organization at older age
