  3. Betsy Ballew Stage of writing: Prewriting PLO: The student will complete an acrostic graphic organizer on a topic for the prewriting stage.

  4. Form of writing: Acrostic poetry: • Easy and fun • Any subject/name • Vertical letters • Use 1 word or phrase • Word or phrase will match letter describing the subject • Each word

  5. Stage of writing: Prewriting • Choose topic • Getting down ideas • Do not worry about neatness • Three descriptive words per letter • Descriptive words will be about the topic
