How best to prepare ….. • Prepare before … • List of employers to be contacted • Provide them with briefing • List of other stakeholders to be met or contacted • Provide them with briefing • List of who will attend final feedback meeting (do funding agencies want to attend?) • Safeguarding – update policy and procedures • Clear internal communication strategy and identified staff responsibilities – including ‘hot line’ for staff • 2 day action plan to be implemented once notified
How best to prepare …. • For work based learning/adult learning – clear, concise information about what is happening and where (preferably on provider gateway) • Site the inspectors where they can best see the curriculum they need to access • Overview of how staff performance is managed including any actions taken since last inspection
