Lab Assignments • Students must look up a website to find out information on matter. • Websites being used: http://www.cesu.k12.vt.us/K-4Resources/matter.htm • Students review the following vocabulary: matter, solid, liquid, gases, properties, changes, temperature and melting • Activity: Students will review that everything is made up of matter. Review that things can be done to matter to change their properties. Students will go on the internet and do a web quest on matter. • Students will then make a kidspiration web about the 3 types of matter ( solid, liquid and gases). Students will save their own work on their own home drive. • Early finishers can go to Acworth website or play programs on the launcher.
