  2. Adolf Hitler was born in Austria on April 20th in 1989 He was the fourth out of six children of Alois and Clara Hitler The young Adolf moved to Germany when he was three. As a young child he became infatuated with war, after seeing a war picture book in his fathers things.

  3. Teenage life for Hitler At age thirteen is father Alois died, without his influence Adolf started to receive bad grades Hitler eventually drops out of school by the age 15. Adolf’s loving mother stood by his side, and supported his decision.

  4. Reality Strikes Hitler. To make money Hitler sold paintings and postcards that he made. Hitler hits rock bottom and moves to Munich in 1913 In Munich he joined the Bavarian Army and then fought in World War I

  5. Hitler in World War I Hitler served from 1914 to 1918. Adolf won a few medals for his bravery. Despite his bravery, Hitler was never promoted.

  6. Hitler In World War I (continued) Hitler had been blinded by gas towards the end of the war. He was sent back to Germany, and stayed in a hospital for many nights. During those days, he realized that the Jews were to blame for his countries misfortune

  7. The Treaty Of Versailles The treaty was the officially end to World War I Under the treaty, Germany took full responsibility for the great war It also made them pay for any damage, and give away there colonies.

  8. Affects of The Treaty Of Versailles The treaty put much shame and humiliation on Germany It also made Adolf Hitler very mad !! Many historians say that this event was the cause of Hitler's rise to power

  9. Hitler gets involved Hitler joins the German Workers Party After two years, he earns his way to being the leader of the group He renames it to the National Socialist German Workers Party.

  10. Beer Hall Putsch Hitler and his supporters try throw over the government in 1923 The group is not yet strong enough and stopped easily. Hitler was put on trial for treason and thrown in jail

  11. Hitler's Time In Jail Hitler served his jail sentence in Landsberg Castle in Munich Although he was in jail, he was treated like a king and was able to have visitors at anytime. In jail he wrote the famous book Mein Kampf ( my struggle)

The Rebirth Of The Nazi After getting out of jail Hitler had to build up his popularity once again The collapse of Wall Street Stock Exchange in 1929 created a world wide slump, this made it easier for Hitler to gain popularity The campaigning of Adolf Hitler made the Nazis the second largest group in Germany.

  13. Hitler Runs For President In 1932 Hitler decides to run for president against Hindenburg. He got about 36 percent of the votes but it did not quite cut it. Hitler didn’t win, and he had to wait until the next election.

  14. The Big Leap In 1932 The Nazis gain majority in The Reichstag. President Hindenburg appointed Hitler as chancellor in 1933, after trying hard to avoid doing it. Hitler finally had a prominent position in the government.

  15. The Burning Of Reichstag The Nazi SS burned down Reichstag in 1933 which ended the democracy. Hindenburg declared a communist take over which gave Hitler much power. Hitler officially took over in 1934.

  16. The Nazi Regime Hitler believed in a master race, which were the Aryans. He targeted mostly the Jews, but in cleansing Germany he also killed gypsies, homosexuals, disabled, and anyone he thought was inferior. Eventually Hitler takes over almost half of Europe including Poland, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Norway, Yugoslavia, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bylorussia, Ukraine, Crimea. 11 years after Hitler takes over, the Nazi Regime is finally brought down.

  17. Knowing he was defeated Adolf Hitler kills himself in a bunker April 30th, 1945, just two days before the German surrender. Hitler's legacy although bad will be remember throughout history. Overall he accomplished most of what he set out to do. Hitler's ideas wiped out about 11 million people. 6 million of them were Jews.
