  2. Objectives • To become aware of our own definition of the key concepts involved in this workshop • To consider other definitions of those same concepts • To share those definitions so as to be able to build on them during the rationale presentation

Sequence of activities 14.30 Explanation of activities 14.45 Base Group work • Each group meets (in the same room) • “Experts” are chosen to deal with the following concepts • Language • Culture • Communication • Diversity • Identity • Each person in the group must write a definition of those five concepts

  4. Sequence of activities 15.00 • The group shares the definitions and a consensus must be reached for a group definition of each • Each expert may study their concept and make a proposal of group definition • Each expert will take note of the group definition of their concept.

  5. Sequence of activities 15.15 Expert Group Work • Experts will meet to exchange base group definitions • While two/three of those experts try to write a single definition of the concept using the base group definition • Two/three experts go to the resource centre to find more information about the concepts • Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Internet, ... • Both groups meet again to write a single definition of each concept • They prepare a poster with the definition of the concept 15.45 Expert group exhibition of the posters 15.50 Final summary by animator
