  3. Main partners of the project: • Narva City Government • Hendrikson & Ko (Estonia) • Peipsi CTC (Estonia) • SERI (Austria) • IDEC SA (Greek) • Infinity Ltd. (Hungary) • Network Models (UK)

  4. The main objectives of the eCommunity project: • Promote sustainable and democratic urban planning using ICT • Promote concept of e-democracy • To raise public awareness and involvement • To create a system for planning

  5. The eCommunity project consists of different packages • Management • Creation of user interface • Creation of process layer • Creation of database layer • Integration of system • System launch in Narva • Dissemination • System launch in society level

  6. About eCommunity system The users: • Municipal workers • Narva citizens using ID card • Others • Super users (architects etc.)

  7. About eCommunity system Not visible modules: • Security module • Window Managing module • Process layer • Database layer • Database

  8. About eCommunity system Visible modules: • EUI (End User Interface) • 3D city • 2D city • DMM

  9. About eCommunity system • Internet based system • GIS based maps • No limits to information • Information is up to date • Different feedback possibilities for public • Thematic 2D layers • Questionnaires attached to objects or geographical location
