Objective - Fostering a Learning Culture ORNL Operational Experience/Lessons Learned Improvement Initiative • Share Operational Experiences/Lessons Learned (OE/LL) at the “point of need” • Share low-level events as “free lessons” • Measure the effectiveness ORNL - Leveraging Existing Processes and Tools • Modify OE/LL Dbase to capture “Fast Read Employee Experience” (FREE) • Quick, real-time information sharing • Captures “short” title and message • “Point of need” distribution to pre-populated lists, (includes user’s organization and/or individuals) • Easy to integrate with other systems (OE/LL, MOS, Recalls/Notifications,Dir/Div websites, etc.) • Monitor effectiveness

Recalls & Notifications - Interface with FREE FREE messaging on Recalls & Notifications would provide a quick way of relaying information to staff who work with materials or tools affected. Insert FREE Lesson Option for Recalls/Notifications. Management Observation System (MOS) - Interface with FREE Insert FREE Option in the FREE title for sharing.
Work Control POC Tools/Page - Interface with FREE Lessons Insert FREE Lesson Option for Work Control POCs. Division has a “POC Tools” page to relay information to Work Control POC’s that might be useful during work planning, control and evaluation.
