  1. Research, Renovate, Renew Philosophy for the future……

  2. It is our duty to learn… • An estimated 750,000 industrial sites exist in our country that need remediation. • Approximately 450,000 have been listed as “brownfields” • Most have resources that could be captured or reused • The costs of waiting outweigh the costs of abandonment

  3. Change is progress… • As our world population grows, our needs grow • Renovation of “brownfields” can fill our needs • Abandoned or unused industrial sites can be reclaimed and recycled

  4. Renewable Resources Industrial sites can provide space necessary to provide for: • Wind farms • Bio-Refineries • “green” consumer products • Waste treatment facilities • Research and Development

  5. Most abandoned industrial sites have outlived their intended use. Many are contaminated in varying degrees. All have a certain amount of recyclable material that when reclaimed help offset the cost of remediation. Great Plains Trade Company works closely with Engineers and Consultants that can solve the problems of contamination. Our goal is to turn unused sites into productive facilities that produce valuable resources for the future. Our partners can redevelop these sites for Bio-refineries, Wind generation and innovative “green” production facilities.

  6. Innovation can be costly. However, our loss of recyclable materials, use of non-renewable energy and contamination of current sites easily tips the scale in cost analysis. How long should we wait before we reuse a valuable resource? Not only can we save an unused site, we save the space it takes to create new facilities.
