How to Register for Georgia ONmyLINE Courses • Step I: Login to GoSolar (username is your Campus Id and your password is your MMDDYYYY, unless you changed it during the Campus Id activation.  If you have problems accessing your GoSolar account, please contact the help desk at 404-413-4357.  Be sure to have your Panther Id when calling. • Step 2: Click on the tab "Registration," then select the appropriate term.  • Step 3: Use the CRN's provided on the GOML Course Offerings page to enter into the registration block.  Click on "Add Class," then click "Submit changes."   • Step 4: Pay for your classes under the "Student Accounts" tab.  Students who do not pay for their tuition and fees will be dropped for non-payment.  Please review those dates and deadlines on the Critical Dates page.

  5. Critical Dates for Georgia ONmyLINE Students All Georgia ONmyLINE critical dates will be published on the College of Education (COE) Online Education website. Financial Aid Information Financial Aid for GOML The electronic rate is $385.00 per credit hour plus a $404 University fee that will be assessed each semester you are actively enrolled. The cost of an Electronic Rate program is the same regardless of residency. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Priority Deadlines: Fall Semester - April 1 Spring Semester - October 1 Summer Semester - March 1 Student Loan Deadlines: Fall Semester - October 28 Spring Semester - March 25 Summer Semester - July 7 *to be eligible for Financial Aid, graduate students must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Graduate Students must also maintain a 3.0 GPA in order to be eligible for graduation. For more information on Financial Aid, please contact our OneStopShop at 404-413-2600.

  13. What to expect on the first day COURSE LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS: • All courses will be held on GoView (Georgia ONmyLINE). You will be able to access the courses your registered for on the first dayof the semester. • Go to https://go.view.usg.edu/ to login. • Login with your username (campus id _ gsu) and your password (default to birthdate MMDDYY) Should you encounter login problems, please try resetting your password on the GoViewlogin page. If you continue to have problems logging in, you may contact the Desire2Learn Help Center at 866-588-5293. Be sure to indicate to the Support Representative that you are a Georgia State University Georgia ONmyLINE student. • Once you are logged in, click on the course you would like to access.

  16. Student Information Hub Georgia ONmyLINE students have a unique resource hub located inside GoViewhttps://go.view.usg.edu where you will access your GOML specific classes. This hub is an additional resource to help guide GOML students through their program of study as well as through the administrative processes for registering, generating an academic evaluation, and applying for graduation. Students are encouraged to use this hub to address questions they may have.

  18. LiveText All M.Ed. & M.A.T. Georgia ONmyLINE students are required to purchase a LiveText keycode to build and maintain a professional portfolio throughout their program of study.  LiveText is a web-based program the College of Education utilizes for students to upload artifacts and narratives that support the Georgia Standards as they relate to their degree program.  Students can now purchase their LiveText keycode by clicking on the UStore. Please do not wait until your last semester to purchase your LiveTextkeycode. It is in your best interest to be working on the exit portfolio throughout your program.

Technical Support with GoView For technical support for GoView, please contact the Desire2Learn Help Center (DHC) at 1-866-588-5293.  Students are advised to use the Desire2Learn Help Center located inside the information box on the login page for GoView for password resets.  For appropriate support, please let the DHC representative the website address that you are accessing (https://go.view.usg.edu). For all other technical questions, please feel free to contact Ms. Uzma Bhatti ubhatti@gsu.edu for assistance.

  20. http://www.usg.edu/usgweb/browserchecker/ Periodically, students should run a browser check to ensure that their system is running under the appropriate settings. If you use multiple computers, be sure to run this check on each computer you intend to utilize for class. As a rule of thumb, if your computer has installed new updates, running this browser check is an easy test to ensure that you won’t encounter problems at a later time. Browser Check

Software A WORD ABOUT SOFTWARE: • Mozilla Firefox (free for download http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html ) • Adobe Acrobat Reader (download for free http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO ) • MS Office Student Edition (includes PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc. - available for purchase through Amazon, Best Buy, etc.) OR • Open Office (works like MS Office, but is free for download - not identical to MS Office, but has many of the same functions - http://www.openoffice.org/

  22. Applying for Graduation Graduation Process 1.) Apply (typically two semesters in advance – see website below) 2.) The Office of Academic Assistance (OAA) will evaluate your academic standing and completion of required courses 3.) Submit final portfolio to your Program Coordinator for graduation clearance http://registrar.gsu.edu/graduation/
