  1. What to do with old furniture? What are the options of dealing with old furniture you no longer need?

  2. Questions to ask yourself: Can it be reused? Can it be repaired? Can it be recycled? ● ● ●

  3. Reuse Organisations like the Furniture Re-use Network will gladly accept your old furniture for those in need. Handing it over to charity is much better than allowing it to end up in a landfill.

  4. Repairs Instead of throwing your furniture out or giving it away, maybe you can try repairing it. You will be surprised at the types of damage that can be repaired at the right place. It’s just a matter of finding it. Or you can try to do it yourself.

  5. Recycling Most furniture is made out of recyclable components. If you cannot reuse it, perhaps you can recycle it. The problem with this is that usually you need to dismantle it and is usually a hassle. However, there are companies that deal with discarded furniture in London, so you can save yourself the time and effort.
