  2. Lincoln Memorial • The Lincoln Memorial is located in Washington D.C It was also built in 1915 as a dedication to President Abraham Lincoln. It was built out of massive marble. Also, the cost of it was 3 million dollars and it took 7 years to build.

  3. Dimension 1 • The building is also 99 feet, or 33 yards tall. It would take 14 Shaquille O’Neal’s to equal the height of the building.

  4. Dimension 2 • The statue of President Lincoln is 19 feet, or 6 yards long, that is equivalent to Lebran James’ height tripled, (2.75 feet tall).

  5. Dimension 3 • The length of the building is 204 feet, or 68 yards long. That is about the size of two basketball courts.

  6. Dimension 4 • The width is 134 feet, or 45 yards wide. That’s almost half of a football field.

  7. Dimension 5 • The statue of Lincoln weighs 174 tons, or 348,000 lbs. That would be the same as 3,866 grown men.
