Who’s Amelia Bloomer?
  • One of the first women to wear bloomers. Today almost all girls wear slacks or jeans, but back in 1851, Amelia was a radical. Now there is a book award named for her, the Amelia Bloomer Project List. The books on the Amelia Bloomer Project list encourage and inspire girls to be smart, brave, and proud.
