UNITED WAY OF GREATER CINCINNATI AT A GLANCE: • $61,050,000 raised in 2012 for initiatives, services in support of the Bold Goals for Our Region, United Way’s Agenda for Community Impact • 6th Largest United Way in the Country • Efficient Campaign: 100,000 donors unite in our region’s largest community engagement effort • Regional Model and Vision:10 Counties: Hamilton, Clermont, Brown and Butler (Middletown) in Ohio; Boone, Kenton, Campbell and Grant in Kentucky; Dearborn and Ohio Counties in Indiana. • Population in Service Area: 1.6 Million

The Education Continuum – An Evolution of Efforts • Setting the Foundation • 1999 – Every Child Succeeds is formed • 2001 – United Way’s Vision 2010 calls for development of an agenda for community impact • 2002, 2003 – United Way Success By 6® first implemented in • Hamilton and Boone counties • 2005 – United Way adopts Agenda for Community Impact; • Children Prepared for Kindergarten identified as highest • priority • 2005 – Vision 2015 adopts the work of Success By 6® and • Service Learning • 2006 – United Way begins to implement Call for Investment in • support of the Agenda for Community Impact

Bold Goals for Our Region EDUCATION By 2020, at least 45% of adults will have an Associate's degree or higher By 2020, at least 85% of youth will graduate from high school (prepared for life, college and career) By 2020, at least 85% of children will be prepared for kindergarten Preparing children, youth & young adults to succeed in school and life • INCOME • By 2020, at least 90% of • the labor force will be • gainfully employed • Ensuring individuals • and families achieve • financial stability HEALTH By 2020, at least 70% of the community will report having excellent or very good health By 2020, at least 95% of the community will report having a usual place to go for medical care Helping individuals live quality lives & achieve maximum health and independence GREATER CINCINNATI RESIDENTS ARE EDUCATED, FINANCIALLY STABLE AND HEALTHY
