  1. Various forms of medical transportation According to a report, a large demographic of society is not able to avail of the required medical care due to a lack of transportation facilities. Due to mobility issues or a lack of personal transportation, people who use medical transportation services can now receive healthcare services like doctor appointments and hospital visits that they might not otherwise be able to. Given that people can access the necessary medical care quickly; this can result in better health results. Individuals who might be in a vulnerable situation might also benefit from medical transportation services, which offer a dependable and safe route of transportation. To be precise there are two different modes of medical transportation. These are emergency medical transportation and non-emergency medical transportation services. Emergency medical transportation services: Emergency medical transportation (EMT) services come in a variety of forms, including: Ambulance for basic life support (BLS): In order to transport patients with non-critical injuries or illnesses, BLS ambulances are staffed by certified medical professionals and furnished with basic life-saving tools including oxygen and automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Ambulance for Advanced Life Support (ALS): An ALS ambulance is staffed by advanced medical professionals, such as paramedics, and furnished with more sophisticated medical tools, such as IV fluids and advanced airway management systems, to transport seriously ill or injured patients.

  2. Various forms of medical transportation Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS): To quickly transfer seriously ill or injured people to medical institutions, typically in distant or difficult-to-reach areas, HEMS uses helicopters or fixed-wing aircraft. Non-emergency medical transportation services: On the other hand, non-emergency medical transportation includes: Basic ambulance service: A basic ambulance in non-emergency medical transportation is a vehicle containing medical supplies and staff members who have undergone training in medicine, but it is not designed to tackle life-threatening situations. The wheelchair van service: This service includes a vehicle featuring secure seats for people with wheelchairs and a hydraulic lift. Medical car service: A private vehicle for those who require transportation to doctor's appointments or other medically related activities, complete with basic medical equipment and staffed by certified medical workers. Stretcher service for non-emergencies: a vehicle with a stretcher and medical professionals on board for people who need transportation but do not require emergency care.
