  1. Exceed Series Decorative Stitch Patterns The Exceed series also has a Decorative Pattern menu where intricate patterns can be selected. The Exceed Quilt & Pro Special F-600 has 72 patterns in this menu.

  2. Exceed Series Decorative Stitch Patterns The Exceed Quilt & Pro F-400 The Exceed Home Deco F-300 has 49 patterns in this menu. has 20 patterns in this menu.

  3. Exceed Series Decorative Stitch Patterns To open the Decorative Pattern menu press: +When the Decorative Pattern menu option is highlightedpress OK to select. Look at the machine LCD screen. The stitch width for this stitch isset to 6.0mm. The stitch length is set to 19.8mm. 19.8mm represents the total length of one sewn pattern.

  4. Exceed Series Decorative Stitch Patterns Press the number + and a new pattern willdisplay. Decorative Quilt Patterns and Decorative Stitch Patterns can be Mirrored.Press the Mirror Key and then look at the machine LCD. Align one seam line of the block with the center positionon the Manual Buttonhole (I) presser foot and begin sewing. When you reach the end of the seam, press the Reverse key and trim the top and bobbin threads.

  5. Exceed Series One Point and Continuous Patterns The Exceed series machines have special sewing patterns called One Point patterns. The Exceed Quilt Pro & Special F-600 has 38 One Point patterns.

  7. Exceed Series One Point and Continuous Patterns To access the One Point Patterns press: When the menu displays on the LCD screen, the One Point Pattern optionis selected by default. Press the OK key activate this menu.

  8. Exceed Series One Point and Continuous Patterns You will be required to enter a patternnumber once the menu is active. Press the numbers “0” and “7” to selectthe first stitch pattern. The pattern will display on the LCD screen. The One Point Patterns are in combine mode automatically. They are also in One Point Sewing mode automatically.

  9. Exceed Series One Point and Continuous Patterns Look at the LCD screen. The selected pattern displays on thescreen. There is a cursor next to the pattern. There is a new option displaying onthe screen.This tells you how many characters have been added to the pattern and how many characters can be added to the pattern at one time. In this case this is pattern 1 and we can add 70 patterns total.

  10. Exceed Series One Point and Continuous Patterns Press the numbers 1 + 7 to selectthe next pattern. The new pattern displays on the screenand the cursor moves to the next position. The MEM option shows 2 of 70 patternshave been entered. We have created a combined pattern.

  11. Exceed Series One Point and Continuous Patterns Let’s complete the pattern. Press the numbers 0 + 7 to add another pattern. Your screen should look similar to this: Press the Mirror Key to Mirror the newly added pattern. Your screen should look similar to this: Press the 1+7 keys and add the last pattern. The pattern should look similar to this:

  12. Exceed Series Saving Patterns to Memory Combined patterns can be saved to memory with the push of a button. Locate the Save/Recall Memory folder below the keypad. Press the Save/Recall Key and the savefolders will appear on the screen. Use the arrows to select the folder you wish to save the pattern to. When the folder is select press OK to select the folder.

  13. Exceed Series Saving Patterns to Memory When the folder is selected theSave/Recall menu will open. If this is the first pattern to be saved to the selected folder, onlythe Save option will be available. Press the OK key to save the file. The LCD will return to the Folder menu.Press to return to the sewing screen.

  14. Exceed Series Recalling Patterns from Memory Turn the Juki Exceed off. Turn the Juki Exceed back on. Press the Save/Recall Key. When the menu displays on the LCDscreen select the Recall Option. Use the arrow keys to select the folder where the pattern was saved. Press OK to open the pattern.

  15. Exceed Series Recalling Patterns from Memory Because there was a stitch pattern available on the machine by default,you will be asked if you would like to delete the previous pattern. Check that YES is selected and then press the OK key. The pattern will open and display onthe LCD screen of the machine. Place one seam line of the block under the presser foot and begin sewing the pattern. When sewing automatically stops, do not trim threads or lift presser foot.

  16. Exceed Series One Point or Continuous Sewing The pattern stitched only once because the machine is in One Point Mode. To sew a pattern (single or combined) more than oncepress the One Point/Continuous key. Look at the LCD screen. There is anew icon displaying on the screen. This indicates that the pattern isin Continuous Sew mode and willrepeat until you stop sewing. Finish sewing the seam.

  17. Exceed Series Elongation of Satin Stitch Patterns Special satin stitch patterns are included in the One Point Menu. These patterns can be elongatedup to 5 times their original sizewhile maintaining their stitch density. Let’s clear off the current stitches from the LCD. Press the key until all stitches on the screen are removed.

  18. Exceed Series Elongation of Satin Patterns Press the 2 + 5 keys to select a satin stitch pattern.The current elongation setting will display on theLCD screen. Press the Option Key. Use the arrows to select the Elongationoption from the menu.

  19. Exceed Series Elongation of Satin Patterns Use the arrows to select the Elongationoption from the menu. Use the arrow keys to move to 1 times elongation. Press OK to activate this option. Check the LCD screen the new elongation setting will appear on the screen. Press the key to clear this stitch from the LCD.

  20. Exceed Series Lettering Patterns The Juki Exceed series machines have built in lettering options. There are Four complete Alphabets with upper case, lower case, numbers and punctuation on the Exceed Quilt & Pro Special F-600.

  22. Exceed Series Lettering Patterns Look at the Exceed keypad. This is set up similar to your cell phone keypad and worksmuch the same way. The punctuation characters are located and displayed on the 1 key. Letter characters are displayed below the 2-9 keys. The Space character is located on the0 key. And you can select European characters on the bottom left key.

  23. Exceed Series Lettering Patterns To access the lettering menus, press the One Point Pattern key.Use the arrow keys to move to the desiredlettering menu. Press the OK key to activate this menu. We are going to create some letteringusing the keypad. Press the “6” key one time. The letter “M” should appear on the LCD screen. Press the “2” key four times. The lower case letter “a” should appear on the LCD screen.

  24. Exceed Series Lettering Patterns See how easy this works. We should have “Ma” showing on the LCD screen. Press the 3 key four times. The letter “d” should appear on the screen. Press the right Key to move over a space. Press the 3 key 5 times so that the letter “e” appears on the screen. Because we are using the 3 key for the “d” and the “e” we needed to move over one space to enter the “e”. Create the rest of the lettering so that the screen reads: “Made With Love “If you make an error when entering the letters press the Key and reenter the letter.

  25. Exceed Series Combining Lettering and Stitch Patterns When you have entered all the lettering, press the space key “0”. Let’s combine a stitch pattern with the lettering. Press the One Point Pattern key.Use the arrow keys to select the One Pointmenu. Press OK to activate the option. When the stitch pattern is requested enter “17”. Your screen should display: Made_With_Love_
