Salient points • ILM Research Foundation has launched a project in the name of Mobile Science Lab. • Under this project a 40 seater bus has been modified and custom built into a Laboratory where experiments in Chemistry, Physics, & Biology can be conducted. • The initiative has been taken after a detailed survey which revealed that many schools lack proper lab facilities. • How does the Mobile Science Lab operate?MSL will have the required Laboratory Equipments, Chemicals, Charts, Scientific Videos, LCD, Computer, Books etc. It will reach different schools on a scheduled plan (please check attachment) along with professional instructors, (2 Science teachers) a Coordinator, and a Driver with Helper and guide students in conducting experiments in the above disciplines. • The purchase, fabrication and registration of the bus have been financed by Sahayata Trust and IMRC, USA. The total cost being Rs. 30 Lakhs. The bus is now ready and has already visited 40 schools.

To fulfill its objective, the Foundation proposes to establish centers for learning, promotion education and also provide scholarships and research grants
