  1. Starting PowerPoint

  2. To start PowerPoint click: Start, Programs, Microsoft Office 2003, Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003

  3. 1st Check PowerPoint Settings & Save work before beginning Presentation

  4. Toolbar Settings Check the Toolbar settings as shown here. If others are checked, simply click on them to uncheck them.

  5. Saving Save presentation at the beginning.

  6. Double click on My Documents folder to save presentation.

  7. Type in file name as follows: Period#-lastnamefirstinitial Then click Save

  8. Slide Layout

  9. Making Slides 1, 2 & 3

  10. Slide #1: Click on this layout

  11. Type “by first & last names” then type Period # here. Type “Cells Presentation” here

  12. Slide #2: Click on “New Slide” button.

  13. Slide #2: Click on “New Slide” button Slide #2: Click on this layout

  14. Type “Cell Theory” here.

  15. Type three parts of cell theoryhere.

  16. Slide #3: Click on “New Slide” button.

  17. Slide #3: Click on this layout.

  18. Type “Cell Structure & Function” here.

  19. Making Slides 4 through 14

  20. Slide #4: Click on “New Slide” button.

  21. Slide #4: Click on this layout

  22. Type “Cell Membrane” here.

  23. Type Your description of the cell membrane here.

  24. For Slides 5 and forward • Repeat what was done for slide 4, but replace cell membrane with other cell part names. • And write descriptions for each cell part.
