  4. Who What Where When Why How is your audience? is the purpose of your presentation? is it being held? is your presentation? are you presenting? are you presenting? Know your who, what, where, when, why, and how

  8. What are you going to say? • Keep titles short and sweet • Focus on the headlines and key findings • Utilize visuals • Avoid abbreviations and jargon • Proof

  9. Practice • How are you going to say it?

  10. Why care? • Put yourself in the audience’s shoes • What is intriguing, unique or new about your work? • What is your value-added? • Presentation is not just about your study, it is about presenting yourself to the field!
