  30. When should I check grades and how often? • Even though your student is becoming an adult we strongly advise you check grades every Wednesday in the parent portal until graduation. Print out grades and high light concerns. • Ask that your student confer with the teacher in person regarding any late material or missing material. Remember we are teaching them how to catch a fish not preparing dinner for them. • By Friday if you still have concerns email the teacher and cc your student. • Recommended repercussion is date night with parent Friday night! Odds are it will only be one night!!

  31. Credit Recovery or Grade Replacement • Summer School (Fee charged per semester.) • March– registration through counselors—online registration only, no paperwork • June-- courses • Bear Down Days-- email grade/transcript to counselor and request any schedule changes that may result • Repeat course during the school year–for grade improvement no extra credit will be applied. • CUSD on-line ($160-181 per semester course.) We do not recommend this method. We prefer in person summer school.
