AMS Vision Statement AMS offers middle school students the opportunity to become academically accomplished, confident and well-rounded individuals by… • Participating in an accelerated, rigorous curriculum focused on developing foundational knowledge and analytical reasoning skills. • Cultivating a culture of excellence through the development and implementation of personalized learning plans that set students on the right path through high school to attain entrance into the University of their choice. • Developing conscientious, respectful and accomplished young men and women through leadership experiences within and outside of the school community.

  3. AMS Curriculum The AMS curriculum is aligned to state and national standards and designed to provide students essential college readiness skills in mathematics, reading, writing and science. STEM coursework is embedded in the curriculum.

  15. Building the AMS Community… • AMS students will have the opportunity to participate in regular community building activities off site. These activities may include the following: • Bowling • Laser Tag • Community Service Opportunities • Cultural Events (Concerts, Festivals, Museum Outings)

  16. Frequently Asked Questions Is busing provided to AMS? As a school of choice, parents are expected to provide transportation to and from AMS. There will not be bus transportation at this time. What is the dress code? AMS student wear green or white collared shirts and khaki pants, shorts or skirts Will AMS provide extra-curricular activities (e.g. sports?) Due to the small nature of AMS, we will complete student surveys to assess student interest in various athletic teams.
