  2. o Stress is a symbolic health issue that is often considered to be a regular part of life. o It can cause the brain to work from a negative point of view. o Stress can be treated by communicating with parents, doctors and close ones. Information on Signs of Stress Ø Stress may be a sign of negativity spreading throughout the primary years in your child’s life. Excessive stress is a matter to worry about. Several stressors affect the entire mindset of young children such as the following: Ø Worrying about grades or schoolwork. Ø Financial issues in the family. Ø Juggling between responsibilities such as school, sports or work. Ø Continuously changing schools. Ø Filling the mind with negative thoughts. Ø Going through hormonal changes at puberty. Ø Separation or divorce of parents is a major stressor.

Physical symptoms can include nightmares, reduced appetite, headaches, changes in food habits, insomnia, acute stomach pain and other physical aspects. Ø Behavioral symptoms include anxiety, depression, restlessness, fear of missing out, fear of being alone, not willing to leave you, anguish, sudden crying, an aggressive or passive exhibition of emotions and the want to stay away from school or family activities. Ø Start a friendly conversation and wait for your child to speak out. Ø A child looks up to his or her parents. Be their role model. Keep your stress away from them.
