MIRS Package/System/Web-site. MiRS DAP5 is on mirs web site download section. A lightweight version DAP specific to OSDPD. Package runs daily on 4 sensors on the STAR machines.(N18/Metop-A/F16/AMSR-E) Package tested on OSDPD IBM machine (orbital chopped mode for N18/Metop-A/F16)

  1. MIRS Package/System/Web-site MiRS DAP5 is on mirs web site download section. A lightweight version DAP specific to OSDPD. Package runs daily on 4 sensors on the STAR machines.(N18/Metop-A/F16/AMSR-E) Package tested on OSDPD IBM machine (orbital chopped mode for N18/Metop-A/F16) MIRS high resolution running: N18 on gulf of mexico; Metop-A on west coast; F16 SSMIS on China east sea; AMSR-E on CONUS region. MIRS Climate monitoring and comparison to MSPPS. Composite products of pentad,weekly and monthly. (TPW,CLW,RR,IWP, SICE)

  2. MIRS website newmirs.nesdis.noaa.gov • Added climate monitoring. • Added data quality monitoring. • Added high resolution run. • AMSR-E comparison to GDAS and EDMWF. • Validation with Radiosonde,HIRS and cloudSat. • Get a new MIRS machine (server). Not operational yet.
