  2. About William Shakespeare William was born is stratford in Warwickshire and he was soon baptised on the 26th April 1564. Shakespeare was married at the age of 18 years old with Anne Hathaway , they were married on the 28th November 1582. Two years later they had twins, Judith and Haminet, their son sadly passed away at the age of 11. In 1593 -1594 Shakespeare made his first poem Venus and Adonis and The Rape Of Lucrece . They were published and he dedicated it to his patron Henry Wriotheseley. Shakespeare then started to make plays in 1594, from which he produced for roughly two years. By 1596 Shakespeare’s father john had been granted a coat of arms and it was probable that Shakespeare commissioned them paying the fee’s himself. A few years later, Shakespeare bought a new big house in Stratford. Shakespeare’s stories were mainly histories and comedies . In 1598, the author Francis Meres described Shakespeare as England’s greatest writerin comedy and tragedy. Shakespeare spent the last five years of his life in new place in Stratford. He died on 23 April
