  17. Question 16 What is a subculture? In sociology, anthropology and cultural studies, a subculture is a group of people with a culture (whether distinct or hidden) which differentiates them from the larger culture to which they belong.

  26. Question 25 What is the naturalistic method? The naturalistic method meant the observation of the target group in their natural surrounding. It was much more invasive than the traditional method.

  27. Question 26 Who were the griots? Native of West Africa, these were poets and singers who chronicled the history of their people.

  28. Question 27 What sector of society did the greasers style and ideals represent? Working class/blue collar/low socio-economic group
