To do… • Read C-11 • Copy the challenge question. • Copy the vocabulary term: • Stability: The tendency of a landform to resist erosion or other change. • Glue the topographical map of Boomtown into journal. • With your partner, examine and discuss the characteristics of the three building sites (hillside, marsh, cliff). • Important fact: The stability of land is a major factor when considering whether to build in a particular area.
