  1. Child Safety Child safety is a very sensitive issue and its importance is rising in the recent times with the rising cases of child missing, child injuries, child labour, sexual abuse and so on. A safe environment for children to live and grow can only be realized when all parties, including parents, schools, communities and the authorities work together. It is the duty of parents or care givers to put efforts to save children from any kind of danger. This book is filled with must-have information, practical advice, realistic insight, easy-to- use tips, and lots of reassurance. It provides comprehen-sive educational tips covering a wide range of topics that concern parents, including sexual abuse, surfing the internet, school safety, safety at home and neighbourhood safety. It also aims at making young children aware of the dangers they might face in their everyday life. About Author: Tanu Girotra, a Healthcare Professional, has been working extensively on preventive, promotive and rehabilitative aspects of Child Healthcare and Child Safety. She has received her Master's degree in Social Work from Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi. She has also been awarded with the Gold Medal in Human Rights Law from Indian Law Institute. She has authored a book named “An Activity based Manual on Life Skills Training” which has been selected in many International Book Fairs including Beijing International Book Fair (2014), Colombo International Book fair (2014) and Sharjah International Book Fair (2013). Currently, she is serving Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya (NABH Accredited), a reputed Children's hospital affiliated to Delhi University, Govt. of NCT, as a Medical Social Worker / Nodal Officer / Life Skills Coach / Safe Parenting Expert. She has an extensive life coaching and safe parenting background and experience.
