  2. Označava radnju koja se dogodila u prošlosti i ne može se više ponoviti. Examples: Peter played basketball yesterday. Mary sawJohn last weekend.

  3. U past tense-u postoje dvije vrste glagola: • a) pravilni - played ( sa nastavkom 'ED' ili 'D‘) • b) nepravilni - saw ( tražimoihu tabeli nepravilnihglagola u II koloni ) REGULAR VERBS IRREGULAR VERBS

  4. Affirmative form (potvrdni oblik pravilnog glagola) Singular ( jednina ): I played tennis yesterday. You played tennis yesterday. She played tennis yesterday. He played tennis yesterday. It played tennis yesterday. • Plural (množina pravilnog glagola ): • We played tennis yesterday. • You played tennis yesterday. • They played tennis yesterday.

  5. Interrogative form ( upitni oblik pravilnog glagola ) Singular ( jednina): Did I play tennis yesterday? Did you play tennis yesterday? Did she play tennis yesterday? Did he play tennis yesterday? Did it play tennis yesterday? • Plural ( množina pravilnog glagola ): Did we play tennis yesterday? Did you play tennis yesterday? Did they play tennis yesterday?

  6. Negative form ( odrični oblik pravilnog glagola ) Singular ( jednina ): I didn‘t play tennis yesterday. You didn‘t play tennis yesterday. Shedidn‘t play tennis yesterday. Hedidn‘t play tennis yesterday. It didn‘t play tennis yesterday. • Plural ( množina pravilnogglagola ): We didn‘t play tennis yesterday. You didn‘t play tennis yesterday. They didn‘t play tennis yesterday.

  7. The rules ( pravila): - Potvrdnioblik imanastavak'ED' ili 'D‘ zasvalica. • Upitnioblik imaupitnuriječ'DID'za sva lica i nema nastavak na glagolu. • Odrični oblik dodajemo rječcu NOTna pomoćni glagol did i nema nastavak na glagolu ( didn't).

  11. The rules ( pravila ): - Potvrdni oblik nepravilan glagol u svim licima - Upitni oblik upitna riječ DID za sva lica, i glagol se vraća u INFINITIV! • Odrični oblik dodajemo odričnu rječcu NOT na pomoćni glagol (didn‘t ) a glavni glagol je u infinitivu.
