Student Commentsfrom spring 2003 • Positives: • There was a variety of investigators with plenty of time for input. • Presentations from Kish/Summitt and Eller showed different applications and examples of "give and take" between biostatisticians and clients. • The perspective of the biostatistician in research projects was clearly demonstrated. • Use of web site to make protocols available was very helpful. • "Tidbit" classes were informative.

Student Commentsfrom spring 2003 • Negatives: • Some discussions included "dead ends" or approaches that could not be used. • Not all students were assigned "BCL projects" and could not learn in this manner. • Overall: • BIOS students can suggest speakers for BIOS 516 2003-2004 based on their own experiences.
