  3. Introduction to Xitou Xitou, officially known as Xitou Nature Education Area (溪頭自然教育園區) is a forested nature park in Nantou County Taiwan. The park includes a forest sky-walk, bamboo forests, forest experiments, over 70 species of bird, and a monster themed village. It is a great day trip for nature lovers and hikers, and a unique way to enjoy Taiwan's ecology. The annual average temperature is 17 degrees Celsius and it is usually five degrees cooler than down on the plains. The cool, refreshing climate and abundant plant, bird and insect life attract tens of thousands of people to Xitou each year to enjoy nature's gifts.   4. 溪頭簡介 溪頭，正式名稱為溪頭自然教育園區，是台灣南投縣的森林自然公園。公園包括森林步道，竹林，森林實驗，超過70種鳥類以及以妖怪為主題的村莊。這裡是自然愛好者和健行者一日遊以及享受台灣生態獨特方式的理想地方。 年平均氣溫為攝氏17度，通常比平地低5 度。涼爽，清新的氣候以及豐富的植物，鳥類和昆蟲生活，每年吸引成千上萬的人到溪頭享受大自然的恩賜。 • 溪頭旅遊規劃 • 第一天 • 台北 (高鐵) → 台中烏日 (台灣好行巴士) → 溪頭 2 號入口 (步行) → 大學池 (步行) → 青年活動中心 (住宿)。 • 第二天 • 早餐 → 神木林道 健行 (竹廬、草坪區、空中走廊，神木、銀杏林、苗圃...)→ 青年活動中心 (住宿)。 • 第三天 • 早餐 → 森林浴步道 → 草坪區 → 銀杏步道 → 溪頭 2 號入口 (台灣好行巴士) → 台中烏日 (高鐵) → 台北。

  14. Bamboo Cottage 竹廬 Located next to the Giant Tree Trail, the Bamboo Cottage presents a 3D shape of Chinese "bamboo" characters, and the circular gate echoes the cylindrical appearance of bamboo. 竹廬位於神木步道旁，呈現中國「竹」字立體造型，圓形大門呼應竹子的圓柱外觀。
