Franz Kafka • Franz Kafka was born on July 3, 1883. • He was died in June 3 1924, from tuberculosis. • He is one of the most influential fiction writers of the early 20th century • Critics have interpreted Kafka's works such as modernism, magic realism, and so on. The apparent hopelessness and absurdity that seem to permeate his works are considered emblematic ofexistentialism.

Existentialism: What is it all for?  The search for meaning in life. ▪Questions such as death, the meaning of human existence, the place of God in human existence, the meaning of value, interpersonal relationship, the place of self-reflective conscious knowledge of one's self in existing. The term of existentialism suggests one major theme, the stress on concrete, individual existence, and on subjectivity, individual freedom and choice. .
