Statistics,facts about the place • The first Catholic Church and Parish School was established in 1597 • In 1619 Parish was established. • In 1769 there was built new wooden church. • The Church burnt in 1868 and was reconstructed in 1870 • During The Second World War the church was burnt a second time. • In 1945 it was reconstructed again and it is thesame nowadays.

  3. Questions and answers • How many people work in the Church? • 2 priests, 5 assistants, 2 Choirs: adults and youth are working there. • What is their main occupation? • They do: baptisms, burials, weddings, organising pilgrim trips.

  4. The main activities and events arranged there? • They are organising pilgrim trips in which they need to walk 50 km. • They will participate at the World Youth’s Days 2011 in Madrid. • They are organising Christmas, Easter mass

  5. How many young people are coming on Sunday to masses? • Sometimes there can be up to 200-300 people
