Best Practice Model 2 year lead up before delivery Steering group membership Roadshows Questionnaire design/completion Next steps Peer review of services Local focus groups Advising on the future strategy and new tenders Representation on Tender panels Day Opportunities Review An individual person can choose to be involved in as little or as much of the process as they want.

  4. Maintaining Independence • It is critical to our members that we maintain an operational independence from statutory services to ensure they feel able to fully express themselves • We acknowledge that the JCT respects our independence, even when this can be challenging for them • Previous issues have tested and shown this relationship to work e.g. NHS financial Cuts

  5. Areas for improvement • Increased influence on members at JCPB meetings – user and carer views should be more central to the discussions • Working with MHSOP and LD • Regional influence • Improvements needed to the structure of JCPB meetings
