Explore some of the aspects of the career such as • job functions and requirements • required education, licenses and internships • potential earnings • Task 2: Research Bullet 2 (at least 1 page) – 1 person • How does a landscape architect use mathematics? • Is there a difference between a landscape architect and a landscape designer? If so, what is the difference. Explain each. • What are the typical services that a landscape architect provides? (at least 1 page) – 1 person

  3. Task 3: Research landscape architecture and current trends in the industry. • What tools, products, and processes have been traditionally used in landscape design? • What are some “green” alternatives to those traditional tools, products, and processes? (at least 1 page) – 1 person

  4. Task 4: Brainstorm - Students will think of possible backyard designs for properties. How would you lay out your own property to include a home, a patio, a garden, and a play area? How could you incorporate environmentally responsible products and processes into your design? They will create a design in Task 4.
