2. You have learned about fruits and vegetables over the last few lessons and I would like you to now do a project on the following topic. (Click on links for samples)

3. PROJECT QUESTION Why know different fruits and vegetables?

4. Project Requirements • You need to present the following items at the end of your project :- • (Click on each item for further instructions) • A Power Point Presentation • A brochure designed using Publisher • A web site • Two worksheets copying names to pictures Refer to basic guidelines Poem 1 and Poem 2 Time Frame Color in picture Read a poem

5. Power Point Presentations (Click on links for examples) • The presentation should include : • An introductory slide • A slide indicating a method that can be used to group fruits and vegetables into two groups. • A slide indicating two groups of five each to indicate that you can differentiate and sort the items into two groups. • Slides using the names of fruits and vegetables to indicate your understanding of first letters used in words. • A slide indicating a possible poisonous item that can be eaten. • A slide answering the project question : Why know different fruits and vegetables? • A final slide showing a basic bibliography. Brochure Presentation • The brochure should feature : • One specific aspect covered in your presentation but explained in more detail. • Use basic copy and paste features and word art to display your product knowledge. • Additional features may be included for additional credits. 9. Time Frames The following time frames need to be followed in order to complete your project on time :- Lesson 1 Receive project instructions and clarification of any questions. Lesson 2 – 3 Plan and produce Power Point presentation. Lesson 4 – 5 Plan and produce brochure. Lesson 6 Plan and produce web site.
