Attendance • When I call your name, please say “present(e)” • During attendance, you must be seated and ready to work before the bell rings. • During attendance, from now on, you will be working on a warm up activity. You should NOT be chatting with your classmates or asking the teacher questions.

  6. Who are you? • Name tags • Design a name tag for the person next to you • Get to know them and personalize the design • You will introduce your partner to the class and to your teacher

The ABCs • On a sheet of paper, write down a letter of the alphabet per line, A to Z. • Listen to Madame Dunn pronounce each letter and write down how it sounds to you. • With a partner, practice spelling your name in French. • Can you spell the name of your town using the French alphabet? Your mother’s name? Your dad’s?

Scavenger Hunt!Room 203 Only On a sheet paper, answer the following questions by finding the answers here in the classroom using posters, signs and everything else you can see! • What artist painted this picture? • Where is Toulouse, France? • How do you say “who” in French? • What is “Chenonceau”? • Name a French Film featured on a poster. • What is the motto of Québec? • Where does the Tour de France begin and end? • What are the colors of the French flag? • How do you say rabbit in French?

  11. Homework • Using the internet, look up how to count from 1 to 10 in French. Find a video or recording so you can practice pronouncing the numbers. • Practice saying your phone number in French • Practice spelling the numbers correctly • Be prepared to say your phone number in class • Be prepared to write the French numbers when asked. (this may be your warm up quiz next class!)
