  • The Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) mandated the Department of Science and Technology (DST) to lead technology development and transfer in SA under UNFCCC
  • South Africa participates in the CTCN Advisory Board Meetings as observers through the Department of Science and Technology (DST)
  • DST nominated as NDE in January 2014
