What it is important? • The first thing you put your name on its cover. • As you success in your 4 years you will success in your project. • The most thing you have complete knowledge with. • Every student in the meeting talk about their projects.
How to select your project? • The impact of your project? How useful for the community? • What you will be learned after you finish your project? • Often your project your starter to the next life.
How to select your project? • See organization like EWH(www.ewh.org) • Projects for 2013: • See other BME departments projects. • Talk with your professors. • Talk with Alumni students.
Find a problem to be solved • Do not assume problem and you try to solve. • Listen to end user. Who are they? • Doctors in hospital, community, Deaf and dumb, Handicapped Society …….. • You have to know your problem deeply. • You have to know what impact if you solve it.

Step2: Plan your time. Expand your time • Plan timetable or Gantt chart (How you mange your time during 9 months)see your university calendar. • Use tools like Microsoft Excel or ……. • Every one have to take tasks which they like to do. • From my experience all duties will be late if you do not this step. • Group have to be a leader who follow tasks. • Plan to submit your project before the exact time.(No one finish at exact time) • it takes around 3 days.(By the 10 October you have to submit your time table) • Example: http://fadhl-alakwa.weebly.com/uploads/5/3/6/4/5364958/gantt_chart.xls
Steps3: extensive search • On previous methods • Compare them and if you could to develop your own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! • Do not see it is the first time this project is doing. You are not the only one on the Earth. • As deep you do a search the best project you have. • Ask your self what me contribution will be. • What I will add to the community • Think about how to reduce the cost, increase performance, reduce size, increase accuracy. • it takes around 1month.(By the 10 November you have to submit your literature review chapter)
Steps4: start learn what you have to be learned • Like new programming. • Like soldering • New software. • Think this is the best thing you will be learned (By yourself.)
Steps5: implement your best method • On software like Labview or Proteous. • it takes around 1month.(By the 10 December you have to submit your simulation) • Think about what we have in local market when you choose components.
Steps6: implement your best method • On Hardware. • Order from abroad if you have missed parts. • it takes around 1month.(By the 10 November you have to submit your circuite)
Step 7:testing performance • Try to compare your instrument with other reliable instrument. • Return to step 5 and 6 to increase your accuracy until you get the best result. • Put your comparison in chart and tables. • it takes around 1month.(By the 10 January you have to submit your working modified circuit)
Step 8:the PCB • You have to build your Printed circuit board for your project using Proteous. • The electronic design center could help you in this.اسال مهندس اياس • it takes around 1week.(By the 17 January you have to submit your PCB circuit) • It looks like (see the next slide)
Step 9: create your cover • Try to create your cover using word, photoshope or adobe illustrator or 3d max or Autocad. • it takes around 1week.(By the 24 January you have to submit your working modified circuit) • It looks like (see the next slide)
