  2. Resource Allocation EGI Council endorsed efforts towards organizing Resource Allocation process in EGI. The goal is to build a communication channel between VO and Resource Providers facilitateresourceallocation.

Resource Allocation The RA process is useful for • the Customers (VO representatives, individual users) because in a multi-provider EGI environment they have a single point of contact to ask for a share on resources. • the Providers (Site Manager, NGI Manager) as it allows more effectively plan the use of resources and closer communication with Customers.

  4. Resource Allocation EGI is receiving requests from the customers through the RA tool • https://e-grant.egi.eu Needed resources for requests: 1. eli-beams VO - HEPSPEC-hours: 100 000 2. Biomed VO - HEPSPEC-hours: 6 000 000 - TB of total storage capacity: 1 (in each supporting resource center) 3. CompchemVO - HEPSPEC-hours: 5 000 - TB of total storage capacity: 0,2

New GOC DB role • ROC Russia to add to GOC DB a new role: • Site-supportwith no GOC DB site/service edit permissions and simply needs to exist to associated a person with a particular site. • Reason: • Havingsupporting stafffor sites who can access tools like Nagios but cannot modify entries in GOC DB
