  2. State of E2K in UW forest • E2K schema installed; forest prep run. • Domain prep run on as needed basis. • No official C&C support, but departments can deploy & run as desired. Some initial delegation by C&C required to setup E2K admin group. • Currently, there are 5 E2K Admin groups defined, but very few users with mailboxes. • In contrast, there are thousands of mail-enabled users.

  3. The Forest Exchange Organization needs organization Impression that you can’t run E2K in UW forest. >This isn’t true, but up ‘til now there hasn’t been much of a dialogue. Let’s change that.

  4. Administration HiEd environ. isn’t ideal for E2K architecture design: some stepping on each other’s toes. >Let’s develop some ground rules, in hopes of creating a policy. For example, some cleanup of ACLs is needed.

  5. If time allows …Strong interdependency on AD
