This project focuses on evaluating collaborative efforts in music through three key components: a collaborative theory packet, a performance excerpt, and an original composition. Students will choose from excerpts by Dancla (1-4) to learn and perform. Additionally, they will explore music theory lessons to create and write a melody using Finale software. Students will record their performance, evaluate their work based on rhythm, pitch, posture, dynamics, and tone, and submit their recordings for feedback. Engagement in the arts correlates with improved academic performance.
